Harald Germer, born 1952 in Aschafenburg, Germany studies physics, astronomy, and art in Frankfurt and Munich. He worked a teacher as well as author and designer of games. 1984 to 2001 he had is atelöier in Klingenberg, works since 1998 as art teacher in Aschaffenburg, and has his atelier in Kleinwallstadt since 2002

He published a number of at-pedagogical and art-theoretical reports, athored essays and presentations on gemaes, game-techniques, a history of games. As game author (game inventor) he creted a number of successful games and game ideas, e.g. Ayanu - Das geheime Strategiespiel der Yanniter", Edition Perlhuhn, Göttingen 1987 Verlag Franckh/ Kosmos, Stuttgart 1988, Rittel Verlag, Hamburg, 2003.
