Josip Karežić was born in 1952 in Osijek, Croatia. Educated at the Academy of Arts in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The work of Josip Karežić is occupied with motives of the Patriotic War in Croatia: personal destinies, heroism and peoples' suffering. His work impresses by its strength and clearness in picturing the human struggle for truth and justice. Heroism arising from the individual perceiving and choosing the battle for truth fills us with gratitude for the gift of human values. Everything is making sense! Sense gives us with power and strength!

Mladen Orešić, Industrial designer, graduated at Vienna's "Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst", department of industrial design, class of Prof. Hans Hollein.

His professional work comprises mostly interior and furniture design, gaining numerous awards and achievements. He lectures Projecting - industrial design at Design Study, University of Zagreb.

Mladen Orešić initialized and organised the first "Annual Exhibit of Croatian Design".

Miro Dzapo joined the Centre of Technology Transfer (CTT) in 1999. CTT oversees system wide efforts to encourage the use of University research results for public benefit. His primary responsibility comprises the coordination of cooperation with Universities, governmental institutions and technology centers as well as management of business incubation activities. Among other positions, prior to joining CTT, Miro Dzapo worked as manager and spent many years testing components on nuclear power stations. Based on his experience and cooperation with economy, he strongly believes that it is possible to incorporate scientific and economy resources, whereas a great role can be played by small and medium enterprises.

Ivan Stefanic was born in Osijek, married with Edita and proud father of son Filip and daughter Klara. He is university professor and head of chair in the field of economics and entrepreneurship in agribusiness at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, Faculty of Agriculture. Ivan Stefanic works intensively with the students and national and international research activities are amended with work with the entrepreneurs in the life long education program. His activities and results in the field of business incubation and technology transfer were reason for being appointed first director of University Technology Development Centre. This way he got the opportunity to apply academic experience to achieve the mission of building knowledge based economy in Croatia. Beside membership in professional associations, he has opportunity to work as UN FAO and The World Bank consultant. He is also member of Croatian Fulbright Alumni Association, SPICE group and Lions club Osijek-Waldinger.
