Frank Maibier, born 1959 developed his art from music and sound projects (1985). In 1989 he began to study painting, graphics, and applied art at the art school in Schneeberg, Germany and joined the producers art gallery "Oscar" in 1990. In 1991 he co-founded the art project "vox" in Chemnitz. In 1999 he received a stipendium of the Saxonian State Ministry for Science and Art. His art work was exhibited in numerous exhibitions in many cities and he participated in international art initiatives: "A presentation of art in a foreign country or for a foreign audience has a special impact and potential. My interest is especially to give and receive new impressions and impulses for encouraging the exchange of perspectives between cultures."
